This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My personal philosophy as an educator in early childhood is to be a real model, while creating a secure and positive environment with a purpose of facilitating preschool student success in all different areas of learning; by implementing real life experience where children will become eager to explore all areas of learning. During my experience as an educator I have a solid history of working with students and families. I also believe that teaching must be fun, and also has to be differentiated for diverse population of students. Every child to me is a variety of gifts and talents. It is my responsibility as a teacher to tap these gifts and talents and allow students to seek and find success. In order to accomplish my goal, I plan to create a positive learning environment, for my team, families, and students by providing the proper guidance for positive behavior, youth involvement, and family involvement. Encouraging them to be eager to explore, take risks, share ideas, and acquire knowledge. Therefore, working together and building a strong foundation with our children, families and community; does build a positive and secure relationship between each other making it easier to trust each other in order to communicate with one another. As an educator, I view my role as a facilitator, role model, a resource, caregiver and motivator of learning. I also believe that being an educator takes dedication, passion, and purpose.
