This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Specialized Support for SPED students and I want a warm, inviting classroom where all my students feel accepted and "no excuses" have everything they need to be successful. My students struggle in a regular classroom and need that added support to learn academics. They need the extra support not only at school but at home as well and we need to have our classes well equipped so that if they need supplies I can easily provide to them. I want my students to adopt the no excuses attitude that I will do my best and try my best and nothing will hinder my learning: especially lack of supplies!
