I have students from many different cultures in our classroom as we learn about different countries, continents, and cultures, they love to explore the artwork that comes from all over the world.
Art is so unique from culture to culture and it's something we celebrate in our Kindergarten classroom!
My Project
My students love to express themselves in full color. We would love an Artist Area of our classroom where the children have everything they need to explore color, form, space, shape, texture, and value. In our Kindergarten classroom we learn the names of all of the colors, explore art history, and learn about famous artists from around the world. Now I would like to give them the chance to let their imaginations come alive as they create their own masterpieces!
With your help, our Artist Area will give children the opportunity to explore and refine their fine motor skills and make creative decisions while they create beautiful paintings to grace their classroom, school, homes, and communities.
They will be able to choose which materials and mediums they would like to work with and draw their inspiration from our Artist of the Month.
