My students need Osmo kits and Cubelets in order to add to our maker space and fully bring to life the joy of the STEAM.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Englert's classroom raised $468

My Students
Our students are excited by hands on learning. They excel at project based learning and show great initiative and gains when they are able to create things. The school is centralized in an urban neighborhood. The majority of the population in the neighborhood and at our school are at or below the poverty line. With that said, these projects have been some of the most dynamic technology projects that they have been exposed.
The students of this school are working hard on developing their basic educational skills and simultaneously expanding their ability to solve problems in both the abstract and real world.
STEM and STEAM projects allow students to go through experimentation procedures, follow directions, play and create designs that come to life right before their eyes. Our students love these technology project based projects that enable them to infuse artistry with science, technology, engineering and math.
My Project
These Osmo kits will create interactive learning experiences through STEAM projects. Students will learn how to incorporate computer coding with tactile interactive components. Students will learn to draw portraits, create designs for inventions such as roller coasters, and use geometric designs to practice their artistic talents.
Also, students will be able to practice word and number play as well as develop an in depth understanding of how to follow step by step instructions.
These projects expose my students to technology components that encourage cooperative learning, problem solving and build stamina for reading. Technology engages our students and opens their world to STEAM education and creates a love of learning.
