I have been teaching first grade students for 13 years. I absolutely love working with this age as there is such a wide range of abilities and capabilities. For me this is so important as I love the challenge and spending time with these students I call my own for 9 months of the year. I am branching out in my use of technology and becoming more skilled with different apps and projects that the students are able to do. I feel that communicating with parents through the day and sharing things about their children are so very important.
I am inspired to learn with the students as we dive into new adventures each and every day, their enthusiasm, energy and excitement make me want to continue to strive to do the best I can do each and every day to provide opportunity and experiences for my students.

My Project
The OSMO kits will be yet another way for my students to use technology to learn in the class. I have been learning right along with them and we are actually creating a variety of reports, lessons and activities for and with our students using technology.
Technology makes learning for the students fun and engaging!
