My Students

Each day, I am fortunate to greet fifteen unique personalities at the door, eager and ready to embark on a new adventure!

Our class is filled with laughter, collaboration, and learning.

Our classroom is made up of seven and eight-year-old students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. They are able to come together to share their experiences and perspectives. Their natural curiosities are easily explored through a number of different tools. My students continuously challenge me, allowing me to learn and grow each and every day.

My Project

My students will benefit from learning through technology and activities that focus on foundational skills. My students will use our iPads and award-winning games included in the OSMO kit to further their knowledge of phonics, shapes, and number sense. These will be utilized independently or with a partner during learning time daily! They will strengthen their number and spatial sense, creativity, problem-solving, and academic confidence. Having more fun while learning will help them to feel successful and productive!
