Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Pre-K at district in Texas. We have an Economically Disadvantaged rate of 77.3%. We have students who come to school knowing their letters, numbers, colors and shapes. We also have students who come not knowing any of these things.

I absolutely love teaching my littles, the look in their eyes when they master a skill is breath taking!!

We work hard each and every day to fill in the gaps academically. My goal is for every student to be prepared for Kindergarten before leaving my classroom at the end of the school year!

My Project

The Osmo kits will help my students learn through technology while mastering skills needed to further reading, writing, math, science and social skills.

These will help kids learn in interactive and fun ways.

They will play games and do activities that build critical thinking and problem solving skills needed for every subject area.

While we have a class set of kindles, having these Osmo systems will help to enhance learning for students. These will allow more hands on learning while giving us the the opportunity for more pointed instruction for each student!
