This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are multi-lingual superstars who come from diverse communities. I may be biased, but I have the best students ever! My group this year loves hands-on learning experiences, asking questions, discussing topics, and learning about the world around them. They come to school everyday ready to expand their learning and to challenge themselves to reach their goals. My students have big dreams and are invested in their education.
Combing technology with interactive, hands-on learning is extremely valuable for all students and allows them to grow and blossom as young learners!
Students learn best when they have the opportunity to use hand-on manipulatives to practice the skills being taught. Osmo’s activities are geared towards learning through play and practice, which is exactly what my students need. My students are already thriving while using the Osmo gaming system. I am looking to provide more devices for my students so that more students are able to access the Osmo gaming system at a time.
