My Students

We have great kids, a statement our staff says daily. Beating odds of low-income and limited resources, our students overcome and succeed in many areas.

Exposing our students to a world bigger than what they see in front of them is a priority.

Growing up in a rural Southeast Kansas town is a blessing in many ways. Unfortunately, it can also be limiting. In order for our students to compete and excel in the current and future workforce, it is our job as teachers to make sure they are prepared.

My Project

My students enjoy learning in new ways. They enjoy being creative and thinking outside of the box.

When hooked to the iPad the Osmo presents learning in a whole new way.

We are requesting the Osmo Genius kit and iPad that will allow students to play word games, manipulate tangrams, and explore number games with dotted and numbered tiles. The Osmo was awarded the Time Best Inventions in 2014 and Toy of the Year in 2015. It is multi-skilled for every level of learner. Bringing award winning and exciting new ways to explore and educate is a priority in our school. Engaging students and having them take ownership of their learning will be automatic when spelling and math combine with this fun and exciting technology. We appreciate your continued support!
