My Students

I teach 25 kindergartners who are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They have amazing minds that are constantly growing. They love learning and grasp onto it each day. It is truly inspiring and I love being part of it. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to teach each of my students each day. The days when certain concepts "click" or new activities show such excitement bring so much happiness to my life! They bring me so much joy!

These kindergarten students come to school each day ready to love learning and I love being able to grow with them.

My Project

Kindergarten students work best with hands on and engaging activities! They learn best by using their hands, creating, and exploring. The iPad with Osmo attachment is both hands on and engaging in many ways. Pieces are manipulated in front of the Osmo screen which communicates with the iPad. The students do the manipulating, as they work on both reading and vocabulary, as well as mathematical concepts. The students also will learn coding concepts, as well as work on number sense, spatial sense, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving!

By donating to this project, you will help 25 students embrace a new way to have fun manipulating, and learning!
