This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am teaching technology! While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from PK-5th Grade. The majority of the school students are Hispanic/Latino, and many of them speak Spanish when they are at home.
This year, most of our students are joining classes remotely from their houses to stay safe through this epidemic.
Our students are economically disadvantaged and therefore are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.
My Project
For this project, we are asking for some special sublimation material that was recently created. This material will enable our students to bring their expressed designs, by printing on any material and on any color rather than needing to be strictly on polyester! We are also asking for some resources to go along with our Cricut Machine to maximize the creativity in our building.
Giving our students a way to express themselves through art and fashion is extremely impactful and we couldn't think of a better time to carry out such activities than now!
