My students walk into our classroom every day full of energy, ready to learn, and excited for the adventure of the day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything as long as they put their minds to it! Their personalities are very diverse, but we all seem to mesh well together.
Our school is a small, close knit school with an strong community to support us.
Many students who live in this area come from lower income households. Our school provides resources to help those children receive the things they need inside and outside of school life.
My Project
There tools will allow my students to easily access the supplies we have in our classroom. The carts will be used for centers that are kept in folders and to organize papers and journals. The shelves will provide a study place to store high frequency word books and leveled readers.
Organization leads to a smooth running classroom.
These items will help us utilize our time in the room for the best possible learning environment.
There are also some random supplies we need in our room. For math we are in need of dice for addition and subtraction games. Also light covers will provide dimmed room which has been shown to increase good behavior. We would greatly appreciate your help in getting some of these items in our classroom.
