My Project
My students are inquisitive and have lots of questions about the world we live in. However, many of them lack an extensive vocabulary. Many students are also very disorganized with backpacks full of papers and supplies that are in no real order.
Vocabulary flashcards that include a word, definition and a drawing to represent the definition are a great way to help students expand their science vocabulary.
In addition to making flashcards, students need a way to organize and keep up with the cards. The pouches and metal rings will give students options for organization that will help them be successful in our class.
Science is hard for a lot of students. It is made difficult because of the amount of 'words' students have to know in order to understand science concepts. Flashcards and an organized way of keeping up with the cards can help students be successful in science.
