My Project
Beginning in the fall of 2024, my grade level will be departmentalizing. This means that students will be switching classes for their core academic areas. I will be teaching ELA (reading & writing) as well as Social Studies.
Our current reading and writing program has multiple workbooks for students to use during lessons.
Students will not remain in the same classroom all day, and, as a result, students will not have one specific assigned desk where they will be able to store their workbooks and supplies.
In order to make sure that students remained organized and have all of their supplies needed for each lesson, I will need to have a central location for students to keep their supplies. Through the use of this storage bin center, I will be able to assign a bin for students to store their supplies. As students enter and exit the classroom, they will be able to retrieve and return their bin of supplies.
