Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting two storage cabinets for our STEAM room to help organize materials in a way that supports student independence.

Currently, there is no shelving in my new classroom, which makes it difficult to keep materials organized and accessible.

These much-needed cabinets will allow me to create clearly labeled, accessible stations so students can independently find, use, and return supplies. Encouraging responsibility, efficiency, and ownership of materials is a standard that I want to instill in children.

Having consistent, organized access to tools and materials will also help reduce disruptions, maximize instructional time, and foster a classroom culture where students confidently take initiative in hands-on learning.
