Organizing Our Sensory Supplies!

Help me give my students the sensory tools they need! Tools will be organized with the rolling shelves. This will allow students to take a cart into the hallway or to another room if needed!

My Students

Creating a classroom space where students are able to access their education is detrimental to their success. Many students are unable to keep their bodies and minds in a space where they are able to take in information and learn.

Recently a donation was made to our classroom of a plethora of sensory tools.

The students are learning what their bodies need and when, and making smart choices about what tools fit their needs. I am looking for a way to store these tools in order for all students to have access to them and to keep them organized.

These students are so lucky to have access to these tools and I'd love to preserve them so that students in years to come can use them as well!

My Project

Students recently received stools, wiggle cushions, weighted animals, fidget tools, pencil grips, headphones, and much more! We have spent time reviewing how and when to use these tools- and they have been a big hit! Students are thoroughly enjoying them.

This project includes items for storing these sensory tools.

I want to preserve these items in order for students in the years to come to benefit from them as well. I hope that these rolling carts will also make the portable storage easy for students to travel to the hallway or to another room with the items they need to be successful.
