Organizing Our Materials So We Have More Time to Learn!

My Project

During an average day, my students use so many different materials while learning new skills in the speech room. We play with Play-doh, hide objects in kinetic sand, play on the car rug, create meals in the play kitchen, read books, color and paint images with their speech sounds in them.

Sometimes the students aren't able to finish the projects that they want to do in the time we have during a session!

When this happens we try to save their materials off to the side. They end up on top of filing cabinets, in a closet, on my desk or sometimes up on a bookshelf. I'd like to find them a safe place all their own.

With this organizing station cart we'd be able to save their projects for their next session without having to wonder where we put it last time they were there. This cart would hold the students' folders, books, play materials, LEGO creations, paintings and coloring pages which will all be ready to go for the next time they come into my room!
