it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a passionate first-grade teacher working with a group of curious and eager young learners. My students love exploring new books and engaging in hands-on activities every day. However, our current bookshelf is falling apart, and we don't have enough organized space for all our learning materials. We're hoping to create a more welcoming and organized classroom with your help.
My first graders are energetic, enthusiastic, and full of curiosity.
They come from diverse backgrounds and thrive on engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Whether they’re diving into a new book, working with math manipulatives, or creating art, they always give their best effort. A well-organized space is critical to help them stay focused and feel empowered to explore new ideas.
Our classroom needs sturdy new bookshelves to replace the current one, which is worn and no longer reliable. Along with the bookshelves, we need a set of storage bins to keep our books and learning materials neatly organized and easily accessible for my students. The new shelves will not only hold our class library but will also house materials like math games, art supplies, and manipulatives in a tidy and welcoming way.
With new shelves and bins, my students will have easy access to their books and materials, which will foster their independence and love for learning. The organization will also create a more calming and structured environment, helping them stay focused and on task.
These new shelves and storage bins will make a difference in the day-to-day experience of my students, helping them develop responsibility, independence, and a lifelong love for reading and learning.
Thank you for considering our project. With your help, we can create a learning environment that nurtures curiosity and growth!
