An organized learning space provides safety and security for successful student learning. The items will help organize our classroom library and student materials. The bookshelf will replace one that was damaged in an earthquake. Our current bookshelf has a broken shelf and is unable to safely hold books. The mailboxes will allow students to easily access their returned work and communication to take home. Both classroom furniture items will help keep us keep organized and be able to store books and papers in a safe way without risk of being lost. Moreover, the mailbox system will give us a place to keep our writing center organized.
