My students are an incredible group of 3-6-year-olds. We are a public Montessori school so we have 3K students, 4K students, and kindergarten students.
Keeping a classroom that addresses the needs and interests of multi-age students requires lots of diverse materials.
When our materials are organized and easily accessible it makes it much easier to quickly locate and provide the items we need.
We use thematic units, hands-on materials, a Montessori scope and sequence, and meet state standards. This means a rich a varied array of materials. Keeping them safely packed away in clear containers or neatly organized in the classroom means more time for more students and less time looking for things we need.
