My Students

"All I really need to know... I learned in Kindergarten" - Robert Fulghum

I am moving back to kindergarten.

Hooray! My wish is for each student and their supplies to find a place to belong in our classroom.

My students are an eager group of fabulous kindergartners, who come from various multicultural backgrounds.

We are a California Distinguished School, and our district is Common Core ready; however, we are in need of updated school supplies to support and educate the 21st-century student.

My Project

When I envision having these organization pocket charts and learning carpet in my classroom, I see students engaged and productive with a specific area for their ELA supplies.

Having not taught Kindergarten in several years I desperately need to update my organizational classroom supplies.

I feel the pockets that I chose for this donation will adhere to everyone's specific needs. It will assist students who struggle with organization by giving them a specific place for their supplies to be stored, and those who already have organizational skills will benefit by not only having an organized pocket, but a clutter-free area to work in at their two person desk.
