In order to foster my first graders' independence, we need a system to organize our supplies.
My student attend a Title I school in Virginia.
This means that the majority of them come from single-parent, low-income homes who are doing everything to make ends meet. My kids crave structure, routine, and organization and it is my job to make our classroom like this.
My Project
My students will use the binders and tabs to create interactive binders for science and social studies units throughout the year. They will use these binders to illustrate concepts learned and take them home to study for tests. We will use the storage crates to organize our various games, manipulatives, and learning activities.
Your donation will help improve my classroom by making it a warm, organized environment for my students to learn in.
Not only this, you will provide my students with supplies needed to help them become organized and successful members of society.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
