This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Writing is a major part of learning. Second graders spend the majority of their day writing. Every subject has some sort of writing piece. Whether they are generating poetry or transcribing their findings in science, they are writing.
It is imperative they have what they need to succeed.
They succeed by having the supplies they need in hand.
Notebook paper and pencils allow students the bare minimum needed to write. Dictionaries, enhance their knowledge while making their writing pieces more polished. Adding binders, tabs, and pencil pouches, gives students the confidence they need to begin, the accountability they need to maintain, and the independence they desire to finish.
