This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After 12 incredible years as an ESE Inclusion teacher, I am excited to return to the classroom and start fresh! Over the years, I’ve passed along many of my supplies to support new educators, and now, as I begin this next chapter, I’m reaching out for help in creating a warm, organized space for my students.

One essential resource that would truly enhance our classroom is a set of seat sacks—storage pockets that hang on the backs of students’ chairs and hold their learning materials.

These seat sacks allow us to use tables instead of desks, which helps foster a more cooperative learning environment. Having their materials within reach not only maximizes instructional time but also encourages students to take ownership and responsibility for their work.

With your support, every student in my classroom can have access to a seat sack, ensuring an efficient, structured, and engaging learning experience. If you are able to contribute or know of resources that could assist, I would be deeply grateful.
