This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our Transitional Kindergarten classroom, we are learning the importance of taking care of our planet. One of the ways we do this is by creating simple habits that promote recycling and responsibility. With your support, we will set up clearly labeled bins to sort paper, plastic, and classroom materials. Students will be able to recognize what goes where and feel proud of making eco-friendly choices every day.
The materials requested will help us build a structured and safe environment where students can participate actively in recycling and organization.
The strong, clear storage bins will hold art supplies, classroom tools, and items ready for reuse or recycling. Magnetic hooks and durable zip ties will help us keep everything in place and easily accessible to young learners. Locks will keep certain supplies and cleaning tools secure, ensuring safety for our curious TK students.
By organizing our classroom with sustainability in mind, students will develop habits that support the environment and create a cleaner, calmer learning space. These daily routines teach more than tidiness they teach responsibility, self-regulation, and care for the Earth. Thank you for helping our youngest learners grow into thoughtful, eco-conscious citizens from the very beginning of their educational journey.
