My Project
I love how my students feel comfortable coming to my office and talking with me and the other school counselor about a variety of topics. Students have no issue asking their teachers to speak with us. This is a common occurrence in our school. Cultivating a comfortable and warm space for my students is very important to me. I aspire to create a space that works for individual student sessions, parent conferences, and small groups.
Organizing all the school counseling department resources will allow me to be a more effective school counselor.
Currently, we have no space to keep our resources such as extra bookbags, clothes, snacks, books, and resources used to develop our lesson plans. The bookshelf will give us the opportunity to open up our space and make it more presentable.
