My Project
My students absolutely love to read and play in our classroom. They have free access to toys, books and art/stem activities and resources throughout the day. The kids love to play but they also love to clean up! An important part of Kindergarten is learning how to be self sufficient and responsible. Sorting our toys into labeled sturdy bins helps teach the students how to take responsibility for the materials they use. It also teaches them the importance of taking care of our supplies because they are hard to come by. Helping take care of our classroom gives the students pride and ownership.
Over the years my storage containers and furniture that I have provided have started to deteriorate.
Our book and toy bins are starting to crack and I would like to update and replace these items so that my classroom continues to remain an organized oasis!
