This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our young prek students need lots of opportunity to develop their fine motor skills. A fun way to enhance the fine motor skills is through the experience of play-dough. Students love play-dough and I want to give them a center that is organized, easy to reach and able to move around the classroom as needed.
A rolling cart will allow us storage of play-dough cans, along with accessories and tools to use with play-dough.
Students will be able to self reach for what they need. The stackable trays will also help store play-dough mats and the command hooks will be able to hang picture cards to inspire play-dough creations.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
