Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are caring, compassionate, and loving. They have a eagerness to learn and are excited about learning each and everyday. They are very active, kinesthetic learners who love working hands-on using a variety of manipulatives. I have a high percentage of students with ADHD which creates problems with their organizational skills and preparing for class.

My class is looking forward to being organized and prepared for class.

Guided reading is a major part of our curriculum. Providing book bags for each student's books and calendar would accommodate those with ADHD, as well as, the rest of the students in my class.

Guided reading is a major part of our curriculum.

Providing book bags for each student's books would accommodate those with ADHD, as well as, the rest of the students in my class. Books can be easily destroyed through wear and tear, but placing them in this book bag would prevent them from a lot of the wear and tear from carrying them from school to home each day.

My students with ADHD need a classroom calendar to help them organize their day with a central location to find important information.

By donating to this project, my students will be able to keep up with their books and become better organized and ready to read, read, read and enjoy it to the fullest!
