This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for considering our project for the 2024-2025 school year. I teach amazing 2nd-3rd graders with autism. We are a Title I school, and my students receive ELL support. They have impressive artistic abilities and are very creative. Their academic abilities range from kindergarten to 2nd grade.
My desire is to challenge them even more than last year.
In order to make this happen we are in need of a classroom environment that is organized. I have a wide variety of tasks and academic activities for math and reading but need an organization system in order to create a structured classroom. We are in need of a place to keep our task bins and other materials for my students. This will give students the opportunity to work on academic tasks and reach for the manipulatives they need for their tasks.
