Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I started this year in a new school with a completely empty room. It is a Title One school, and we don't have funding for any furniture. I would love to help my students learn to be responsible for their own things and be more organized so they are ready for 1st grade. The cubbies will help the students keep track of their papers and assignments while helping them to be more independent. It will also help me get them their make up work more efficiently when they are absent. In first grade they are required to keep track of all their in class and homework. I want to set them up for success by helping them learn to take care of their papers now.
