My Project
As a 7th and 8th grade science teacher, I strive to create a classroom environment that is organized, engaging, and supportive of all learners. The materials in this project will help me improve classroom management, streamline daily routines, and foster a space that promotes student success.
The colorful duct tape will help me label materials, define student work zones, and create visual cues for lab setups.
The plastic drawer organizers will store essential supplies like paper clips, pins, and staples—keeping everything accessible and minimizing lost time. A dedicated mailbox system will make homework turn-in more efficient and organized.
With limited school resources, copy paper is a classroom necessity for printing assignments, handouts, and assessments. Disinfectant wipes will help maintain a clean and healthy learning environment, especially during lab activities. Power strips will ensure students can charge their laptops at designated tech stations.
To create a calming corner for students who need a break, I’ve included a rug and adjustable storage units to keep the space tidy. A standing desk will support my ability to teach flexibly while monitoring group work and moving around the room.
Finally, an easel pad and anchor chart materials will allow me to display classroom expectations, writing supports, and academic strategies visibly. The air horn button will serve as a fun, quick attention-getter during transitions.
Altogether, these resources will support my goals of building a structured, student-centered science classroom where learning
