This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are newcomer kindergarten ELLs. Many of them have never been to school and they do not know English.
While trying to teach them a new language, I also have to teach my students things like how to read.
The filing cabinet will help me organize their books and materials which are currently stored in gallon zip lock bags.
The file folders and hanging file holders will help organize their books by unit making it easy for them to grab and go with each small group. The file folders being Ziplock will help preserve materials for the long haul.
