Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students work hard each and every day, yet they often lack the organizational skills to keep up with their work and belongings. Obtaining organization skills assist students in becoming successful in their personal and academic lives.
The majority of my students come from low income homes where English is not their native language.
The students usually come to school with no supplies, and I am required to provide them the necessary supplies to assist in their education. However, the students come to school ready to learn each day. They fully participate and are always excited and engaged in the various topics we are learning about. Regardless of their home lives, my students strive to be successful in my classroom, and I encourage them to do the same in their personal lives as well.
My Project
The seat storage sacks will allow my students to learn organizational skills. Many of my students often shove their materials into their desk or occasionally loose their supplies. The requested materials will allow my students to keep up with their supplies and materials rather than misplacing or destroying them. The students will be required to take care of their seat storage sack and keep it tidy.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by allowing my students to learn organizational skills that they can carry with them the rest of their lives.
Organizational skills are essential to children as they grow, and this will be a skill that they can begin learning and practicing now.
