Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Algebra 1A/1B at a Title I school, where many of my students face challenges beyond the classroom. What I love most about them is their resilience and determination to learn, even when the odds are stacked against them. They show up every day ready to grow, and they inspire me with their curiosity and grit.
The resources in this project will help create a more organized, engaging, and healthy learning environment.
The mini composition notebooks will allow each student to keep track of notes, practice problems, and reflections in one place—giving them a sense of ownership over their learning. The binder shelf will help us stay organized as a class, making it easier for students to access and return their materials independently. The hand sanitizer will help keep our classroom clean and safe, minimizing disruptions due to illness.
These small but essential items will make a big difference in helping my students feel prepared, focused, and supported every day.
