This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how eager my students are to learn and grow, each with their own unique strengths and perspectives. They bring a wonderful sense of curiosity and creativity to the classroom, and I am constantly inspired by their resilience and determination. Despite facing various challenges, they approach each day with a positive attitude and an open mind, making our classroom a place of joy and discovery.
The resource I’m requesting, the OSCHF Cubby Shelf Bookcase with Doors, will play a crucial role in creating a more organized and accessible learning environment.
With 11 cubes and 3 tiers of storage, it will provide a dedicated space for books, supplies, and personal materials. This will help reduce clutter and make it easier for students to access the resources they need, fostering independence and responsibility. By keeping materials neatly stored, students can focus on their work without distraction, which is essential for their academic growth.
My goal for this project is to enhance the classroom environment, making it more conducive to learning by improving organization and accessibility. I want my students to have everything they need within reach, whether it's a book for reading, a notebook for writing, or art supplies for a creative project. The cubby shelf will not only help keep our space tidy but also encourage a sense of ownership over their learning space.
What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds and their shared commitment to learning, despite the challenges they may face. Each student brings a unique perspective, and they thrive when given the tools and space to explore, create, and grow. This bookshelf will be a small but important step in ensuring they have a functional and inspiring environment where they can continue to excel.
