Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The majority of our students live below the poverty line and are not afforded real-world educational experiences outside of our school walls. Our goal is to help our students experience educational opportunities that they would otherwise be denied due to their social economic status.

Our school is rich in culture and diversity.

We have 27 languages spoken, students with behavioral and emotional disabilities, a wonderful special education department, and we are trying to bridge the gap to make a more cohesive and well-rounded​ education.

My Project

Thank you for choosing to help us transform our gym into a clean and organized classroom!

The gym can be quite a germy, messy place.

We would love to change that and we can't do that without your help!

Many of our students have a difficult time during transitions. The hooks would help us organize equipment and stations throughout our gym to minimize confusion during their transitions and guarantee that equipment is where it needs to be at all times.

Since our equipment is shared with 700 students, we try to disinfect it all as often as possible and go through a TON of Clorox wipes!!!
