Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Today's students struggle to keep themselves organized. They can't find assignments or lose pencils throughout the day. This project was designed to create organized places for students within my classroom. Students need to learn to organize their materials to be efficient and productive in life.
In this project, I have chair pockets to keep folders, notebooks, and resources that they need to keep in an assigned spot.
Students will practice and learn to put their work and supplies in a safe place. These are skills they will take with them into all areas of their lives.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
