Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are middle schoolers who like things to be as simple as they can be. They are constantly in need of something. Whether they need pencils, highlighters, pens, or even paper I want to help them but in an organized fashion.

Help me give my students the opportunity to have what they need but also helping to teach them to keep items organized within my classroom.

Students need to develop organzational skills and this is one way I can begin assisting them to learn the skill in my classroom as well as responsibility with bins and desk organizers. Each designated group will be able to have necessary supplies in a designated area and shall be responsible to ensure the materials are returned to their designated location after class.

Responsibility and organization has to start somewhere so we will begin in my room and holding each other accountable for supplies.
