My Project

What I love most about my 7th grade girls is their energy, resilience, and eagerness to learn. This is such a transformative time in their lives—they’re developing independence, finding their voices, and realizing what they’re truly capable of. Each day, they walk into our classroom with curiosity, creativity, and the courage to take on new challenges. I’m incredibly proud to create a space where they feel empowered, seen, and supported.

To help them thrive, I’m hoping to stock our classroom with both essential materials and tools that encourage deeper learning.

Basic supplies like file folders, pencils, laminating pouches, and glue sticks may seem small, but they are absolutely vital. These items help us stay organized, prepared, and efficient—ensuring that students can focus on learning rather than worrying about what they don’t have.

In addition to those essentials, I’m also hoping to add 4-tier foldable storage units, clipboards and LCD writing tablets. These tools directly support student growth and engagement. The storage units will help create a more organized and accessible classroom, giving students a designated place for materials, manipulatives, and personal work.

Clipboards make learning mobile and flexible. Whether we’re engaged in gallery walks, outdoor math lessons, or small group work, students can take their work anywhere—promoting movement, collaboration, and ownership of learning.

The LCD writing tablets are a game-changer for quick math practice, brainstorming, and formative assessments. They reduce paper waste while making learning interactive and low-pressure.

Together, these materials and tools will not only support academic success but also help students build key life skills like organization, critical thinking, independence, and creativity.
