My Students

My students are diverse and come from all over the world!

They are learning English as a new language as well as adapting to their new environment!!

They are engaged in the process and a joy to teach. My school is a wonderful community of teachers and students. Though our school is great, it comes with challenges as a Title 1 school. We struggle to meet the needs of our students, because of lack of rigorous, innovative, and fun items in the classroom, which would engage students and encourage learning!

My Project

Every school year brings smiling faces from different places! This year my students are in a tiny classroom with not windows and cabinets. We don't have any storage spaces to keep our school supplies. Having an organized classroom with the proper place for all learning materials makes it easier to teach and learn. Each drawer will be labeled for easy clean -up too!

We need designated places for crayons, pencils, scissors, glues, and lots of papers.

Young students need lots of manipulates for hands-on learning. These storage drawers will provide a place for different math blocks and counters!
