My Students

Hi, I am a 1st year teacher at a school where I have never had the pleasure of subbing at or opportunity to meet the students. On that note - I know every student wants to learn and each student has their own learning style. I am excited to meet my students and see how each shines.

These students live in an agricultural area.

Economics seems to be a factor. I can tell that the children here are happy even if there is an economic disadvantage.

My Project

As I was going through supply lists and needs for the students to be successful I completely spaced on work in progress folders. We are in need of them. It is an organizational tool I have used before and it works.

The students will use it to keep track of work in progress.

They will store their AR goals in the front pocket for easy access and finding. Lastly, they will use the last pocket to track their multiplication fact practice progress.

In 4th grade we are learning organizational skills for life and these folders are a means to learning this skill.

Then I realized I did have anything tactile for my SPED students and I wanted something unique. I pick out two cool tools for this purpose.
