This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am always looking for the best way to organize the materials in my classroom, but with limited funds, this can be difficult! I am requesting some items that help with the organizational system in my classroom like zippered pouches and label tape. The bonus is that the organization will be in my choice time area. So, when students earn choice time, they can easily find their choice of activity. Along with organizational materials, I am hoping to fund my classroom with a few new choice time items, such as puzzles, board games, and the ever-popular Elephant and Piggie books!
When students in my classroom have choice time with engaging and organized materials, games, and toys, they are able to collaborate and communicate with one another through play.
I love seeing the community in my classroom grow when students are enjoying free time together! I love to give my students the opportunity to play with new items they may not get the chance to experience outside of the classroom.
