Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I School with some of the most amazing students in Utah! I strive to provide a classroom that is safe and warm, organized, and inclusive. The items in this project will help me do just this.

I will use the acrylic file holders to organize student work, along with laminating them to ensure they last all year.

I will use the lamp in a darker area of my room for group work time, utilizing the rolling chairs for rewards during that group work time as well. The magnetic rods will hold group work folders for more efficient use of time during rotations as students engage in different learning experiences.

The small clear pencil pouches will hold school trading cards that enhance attendance goals this year. The pencil sharpener will be placed in a specific group location that has paper pencil work, to ensure students don't need to wonder around the room to prep their materials for group time.

My students are thrilled to have these new additions to the room to help create a unique learning environment.
