This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am hoping with more organization and systems, my students and their materials can remain safe, independent, and intentional for many years to come. I appreciate any help supporting my students!

I work in a Title I school with a lot of behaviors.

This year, and in preparation for future years, I want to invest in ways to protect our materials and set up systems to support my kindergarteners. The pencil and book bins will be used to store personal materials in an effort to keep other's things safe during student behaviors. The carpet is an important part of a kindergarten classroom to keep students in their space and safe while learning. Right now my classroom does not have a carpet with specified spaces for each student, which we run into a lot of problems with.
