My Project
As a high school math teacher, I’ve found that certain items can make a huge difference in the classroom environment. A printer is one of the most beneficial tools because many students frequently ask me to print out worksheets, assignments, or notes they missed. Having a printer in the classroom allows me to provide them with materials immediately, without causing delays or sending them elsewhere. This helps keep the class running smoothly and ensures that no student falls behind. Additionally, storage bins are essential for keeping the classroom organized. Math classrooms tend to accumulate a variety of materials—calculators, notebooks, and extra handouts—and having labeled bins for each category makes it easy to stay organized and ensures students can quickly find what they need. Lastly, Christmas lights help create a more comfortable atmosphere in the room. The overhead lights are extremely bright, and since we keep the windows closed to block out wind or prevent too much sunlight, the room can feel harsh and uninviting. The Christmas lights add a warm, soft glow that makes the space feel more welcoming and helps reduce eye strain for both the students and me. Together, these items contribute to a more efficient, organized, and pleasant learning environment.
