This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The start of a new school year means new school supplies for 32 fourth graders! Many parents are spending money on back to school clothes, backpacks, and lunch boxes. By providing school supplies that my students need in the classroom, I can ensure they are set up for success.
My wish is for all my students to have these much needed school supplies that they can use in class all year and have a the necessities to become successful students.
Some of these supplies will be used for daily lessons and student organization. Students use colored folders to manage their different assignments, and keep themselves organized. Water bottle stickers are incentives that student love to collect and show off for their hard work in meeting independent reading goals.
With 32 fourth graders, supplies can add up, and my hope is to get some of the beginning of the year supplies funded through this project. I know my students will appreciate having fresh, new supplies to kick off this upcoming 2024-25 school year!
