This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students! Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes or may live in a motel. All of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances.

I want to help my students in every way that I can in order for them to be successful in reaching their goal of developing their skills, and of course, have fun!

My Project

My students have been working very hard this year on showing how to take care of their classroom materials and being responsible. They take so much pride in showing me how they're keeping their table and pencil boxes clean and neat. I am so proud of their progress and ownership!

I am requesting 18 seat organizers for my students to help them become more organized.

Organization has played a big role in my class this year. Due to limited space and Covid restrictions, my students have to place their notebook, reading materials, pencil case, and headphones inside of their seat sacks. The only problem is that their current seat sacks are falling apart! As much as they want to continue keeping their items organized, it does not help that their items are falling out of the sack! With the new seat organizers, they can keep everything in one place without having to constantly worry about their things falling out! Thank you!
