Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are risk takers. They are not afraid of making mistakes. They are a group of learners that are willing to learn and are eager to learn from others. My classroom provides a safe environment where we value everyone's culture. We are all equal. My students are bilingual, they are learning each other's languages and cultures.

My students are part of a public 2nd-grade two-way dual language program.

They are learning both English and Spanish. In my classroom, we are learning to appreciate diversity and accept different cultures.

My Project

The project will help organize the classroom and work stations for students. In our classroom, we have multiple stations that fit the needs of every student. The bins will help us keep our stations neat. Having a mobile cart will allow me to bring materials into the classroom. For science we do a lot of hands on lessons and carrying multiple items can be heavy. I am looking to be more efficient with resources available. The learners will be expose to rich lessons that require planning time and that is why having a mobile crate will allow me to bring items into the classroom.
