Organization is key for any teacher; it helps with structure, transitions and effectiveness. It eliminates time lost looking for supplies!
Showing my students proper organization while teaching, by having materials used and returned to their proper location will allow them to see how efficient and time-saving organization can be.
The glue gun is used for almost everything! The name tags are to label individual supplies, cubbies, binders, and reading buckets. The magnetic circles help to hang and organize name tags for math and reading groups, and makes moving the names around a lot easier as the kiddos progress in their academic skills. The curtain rod and curtains are to block off the cleaning supplies and hygiene products area under the classroom sink since it does not have doors.
The materials in this project will help to organize every area of the classroom. it is my hope that all of the organization at school will help to model organization and responsibility with their things even when they are not at school.
